Sakura Schoolyard - (somewhat repetitive but amazing nonetheless) What You Will See - (Reach 2:00 minute mark for epicness) Tulip Festival - (Note: Reach past the 0:50 second mark to please your ears).Ībyss of Time - (Note: Same as above - Reach past the 0:50 second mark) It's all done extremely well and the soundtrack team deserves all sorts of praise it can get. And there are tracks where the lyrics intentionally do not make any sense. There are tracks with very gripping chanting. There's a blending of piano and guitar with electronic beats. There's a dubstep track with orchestral chorus. It marries different music genres and brings them together in very unique ways.

It does, however, lack a review of the tracks that were added later on in the console version.įollowing this, I want to (myself) stress how amazingly well done the soundtrack in this game is. It's really well written and nicely accounts for the variety of tracks. I have to first thank Nert for making this post in the the Neogaf Official Game Soundtracks of the Year 2012 thread.įollowing this, I also want to post a review of the soundtrack by Don from squareenixmusic.

Game awards have come and gone and I still think the Tekken Tag 2 soundtrack has gone largely unnoticed by the gaming media and the gaming public at large.
