Go to your "Network and Sharing Center", and click on the "ZeroTier One" link in your networks list. Since you set it to private, you'll need to authenticate this user. You'll know it works when you see a new device in your network (bottom of the ZeroTier network website). You can name your network too if you want, but it doesn't really matter.Ĥ: Give your friends the "NETWORK ID" and tell them to connect via the ZeroTierOne app. First, change "Access Control" to PRIVATE. But don't worry, there's only a little bit you need to do here. Open that, and now you can configure a ton of settings. Log in to your account, and one of the tabs at the top should say "Networks".Ĭlick on this, and below you should see your new network. You can easily access this by right clicking on the app again and clicking on "ZeroTier Central." If you haven't already, make sure you have an account (I think it's required to even get this far). Now, if you go to "Network and Sharing Center" on Windows, you should see your actual internet, and this new "ZeroTier One" network. You should then get a pop-up from Windows to allow discovery or something, make sure to say yes to that. Just right click on the app in your Windows10 Task bar and click "Create network". Your video on how to update CT graphically was immensely helpful but we've sadly been unable to get it to connect.ġ: everyone needs ZeroTierOne. We tried a Hamachi guide that was posted in the discussions here last year and that didn't work and we tried for nearly an hour to get ZeroTier to work as well but no luck. I have not tested to see what happens if both clients are running the mod together, but we were able to play a full coop mission in Panama without a single disconnect.Ī couple friends and I have been itching to play some CT versus and sadly haven't been able to figure out how to get the LAN connection working. Removing this mod (placing the associated files into a temporary folder for later use), fixed the problem instantly.
The forced FOV tweak in that mod causes the conflict. I installed "ThirteensAG" widescreen fix to Computer #1, but did not install this mod to Computer #2. If you are experiencing similar disconnects, it's likely that you have modified your game in a way that conflicts with the coop client.
